Spring Break

Students and Parents, the month of May marks our first “break out” season for the year. We have covered a lot in the last three months and now it is time to give our creative minds a well deserved Spring Break. Over the next four weeks, instead of thinking about producing and composing music, just relax and enjoy the groovy toons of your favorite songs. When you are ready or when you feel like it,work on chopping up some samples, finger drumming, or an active listing exercise. While you are away, your teachers will be busy creating another awesome quarter full of the next steps in your music education journey. Some of the things that we will be accomplishing in the next few months are, discovering the Minor Scale pattern, real time performances, and reading notes on the music staff. We are also looking to do more fun activities out in our local communities.

As always, feel free to let us know how you are spending your Spring Break and what new music you are currently playing or creating. It will be June before you know it and class will be back in session.  We we be ready to start off quarter number two of 2022 with a big bass drum kick!  See ya soon and have fun during your break!
